The REDEEMED

Whether on the road sharing the gospel, or worshipping in their home church, The Redeemed of Rogersville, Tennessee have set an example of faithfulness and commitment. For over 26 years, Rev John North, his daughter, Julia Taylor, Alan Cross, and Mike Davis have carried the gospel in song all across the country. Not only are they faithful to the call, but to their personal walks with the Lord as well. No matter how far Saturday nights take them - every Sunday morning finds The Redeemed at Spires Chapel Baptist Church, where Rev. John North is pastor. The newest members to join The Redeemed are Mike Foster and Brad Price.

During their 26 years of service to the Lord, The Redeemed have recorded 25 projects. Out of those 25 projects, 14 of their radio singles have found their way on the national charts such as The Singing News, The Gospel Voice, and The U.S. Gospel News. Countless lives have been changed as a result of songs such as "I Made It By Grace," "He Is The Resurrection," "Bless The Lord," "It Will Pass," and many others. Although the group has had many top 80 and Top 40 songs, last year The Redeemed celebrated their first Top 20 song, "Calvary's The Reason Why." The Redeemed is also celebrating another first, their very first "Greatest Hits" project. They have taken all of their popular radio singles and other special songs and compiled them on one project! The project, "So Far" was released by Harbor Music Group.

Perhaps the greatest accomplishment in The Redeemed's 26 year ministry has been the building and operation of their home music park - Caney Creek Gospel Music Park. In the past eleven years, they have invited many of today's top Southern Gospel artists such as The Happy Goodmans, The Talley Trio, The McGruders, The Primitive. Qt, The Isaacs, The Perrys, Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, The Jody Brown Indian Family, The Crabb Family, Michael Combs and many more! There have been many souls saved during the meetings at the park. The singing for 2007 will only be held in September.

In churches, schools, outdoor singings, and concert halls, The Redeemed have been blessed to see many souls come to know Jesus. They've carried their ministry throughout the southeast and midwest, and have made ten voyages on the annual "Jubilee At Sea" ocean cruise. For the past six years, they've appeared regularly on the Gospel Music Television (GMT) satellite network, reaching out across the nation and into foreign countries.

Whether through concerts, radio, or television appearances, and whether the song be old or new, their desire is to carry the simple message of salvation and grace that people everywhere can relate and respond to. When seasoned by The Holy Spirit, these songs of God's great love still touch the lives of people today------ just as His grace has always paved the road for The Redeemed to carry the message and serve Him with joy!

NOTE: In 2008, Caney Creek Gospel Music Park will not be hosting a
Spring or Fall Singing. Please check back for announcements concerning 2009.
